Dragonfly Drop Earrings

These dragonfly earrings were inspired by slow summer evenings, the kind where the air is warm and still and the light fades gently across the sky. Sitting on the back porch, watching dragonflies drift and dart as the sun goes down, their wings catching the last bits of light. That sense of softness and color is what shaped my design.

Each pair is made by my hand using individually selected beads, creating subtle variation in color, balance, and movement so no two are exactly alike. 

Blue dragonfly with silver tone details (2.25")
This variation features glass beads in soft blue and teal tones paired with metallic silver accent beads. The wings are formed with slender 3x11mm dagger beads that give a delicate, airy shape, while the beaded tail adds gentle length and movement. The cooler palette and lighter proportions create a calm, floating presence.

Ancient gold dragonfly variations (2.25")
These warmer versions use all glass beads in gold with varying accent colors; current pieces lean more gold with limited to no pink; colors may differ from product photos. The wings are made from larger 5x16mm dagger beads, giving a fuller, more prominent silhouette. A faceted gold beaded tail catches the light with movement. Each pair has with slight differences in tone and arrangement due to the natural variation of the beads.

Iridescent teal dragonfly with silver tone details (2.25")
This variation features glass dagger beads with an iridescent teal finish that shifts between cool green, blue, and soft violet tones depending on the light. The wings are formed with 5x16mm dagger beads, giving a slightly elongated shape with a luminous, reflective quality. The color shift and sheen give this version a more dynamic, light-catching presence while still maintaining a calm, airy feel.

Each pair is lightweight and designed for comfortable, everyday wear. Small variations in bead color, size, and placement are part of the handmade process and ensure every pair is unique.
