Earring Hardware Swap (ADD-ON ONLY)

This listing is an add‑on service that lets you change the earring hardware on any pair of earrings in my shop. Whether you prefer posts, hooks, or clip‑ons, I will swap the hardware from whichever the listing displays to match your needs.

This is not a standalone item — please add this to your cart along with the earrings you want customized.

How It Works

• Add your chosen earrings to your cart.
• Add this “Hardware Swap” listing to your cart.
• Choose your preferred hardware type from the variation menu.
• I will match the hardware tone (gold or silver) to the original listing and replace or create your pair with the hardware you prefer.

Buying multiple pairs? Each add‑on applies to one pair of earrings; if you are buying multiple pairs, please add one hardware swap for each pair you want swapped out. If there are more pairs of earrings than hardware swaps, please contact me to confirm which pair you want switched over.

Available Hardware Options

For Pierced Ears

• Ball Post: Simple, secure, and minimal — great for everyday wear.
• Fish Hook / French Hook: Lightweight, classic, and comfortable.

Clip-On Options
(No Piercing Needed)

Easy Open Loop + Silicone Pads:

• A hinged loop that slides opens easily and closes securely, with soft silicone pads on the back for comfort.
• The front of the hardware can press/indent, but I've found them tolerable; they look most like a typical earring from all the clip-on options.

Transparent Silicone U-Shape + Ball:

• Lightweight, flexible, and discreet — perfect for sensitive ears or a softer feel. 
• These are great for lightweight earrings and are the most comfortable option of them all. They can be inadvertently removed, but it's unlikely you wouldn't notice; just be careful brushing hair or moving clothing/accessories like hats or scarves around your ears.

Classic Metallic U-Shape + Half Ball:

• A traditional clip-on style with a polished metallic half-ball front.
• Probably the option we're most familiar with. While all my earrings are lightweight, this is in general the best option for earrings that can support heavier ones. Comfort-wise, these earrings are middle-of-the-road between the two other clip-on options.

Good to Know

• Images of hardware options may not be exact to my stock at a given time, but demonstrate the type of earring hardware in general.
• Hardware swaps do not alter the design of the earrings themselves — only the attachment method.
• While the vast majority of my earring hardware for pierced ears is hypoallergenic:
